Burlingame is known for being very kid-friendly and pet-friendly and that’s one of the reasons we love coming to this downtown area. You can shop, walk and eat anywhere here, but Kabul is a gem with it’s delicious, flavorful food and you wont want to miss out!

Kid-Friendly: Yes. And because we had the baby with us, they placed us in an area away from most of the customers, which we understand, because we all know babies can have a meltdown at any point. 🙂
Pet-Friendly: Yes! They have outdoor tables you can enjoy with your pup during lunch and dinner.

I gave Kabul a 4 because although the food is delicious, the drinks may be a bit overpriced compared to the food. A glass of house wine will cost about $8-$9! The Kadu is my favorite, especially as an appetizer. It is a perfect mix of sweet & savory. The picture of my Quabili Pallaw doesn’t do it any justice. The lamb underneath the rice is extremely tender and not gamey at all. It reminds me of a nice short rib dish. My husband ordered the Chupan and thought it was flavorful but a tad chewy. Overall, this is a great place to eat for lunch or dinner, with or without kids, and on sunny days, bring the doggies and enjoy Burlingame outdoors.

- Kadu (sauteed pumpkin with yogurt & meat sauce)
- Salad (comes with entrees)
- Chupan (Lamb loin chops, marinated in herbs and fine spices, charb oiled on skewer, served with pallaw)
- Quabili Pallaw (Seasoned pieces of lamb under a mound of delicately seasoned rice, topped with carrot strips and raisins)
- Complimentary Bread
