Weekend Wrap up: Celebrating Erin + Mike’s Disney Themed Wedding | Palmdale Estates | Fremont, Ca

This past weekend, we celebrated my husband’s cousin’s wedding.  Erin and Mike got married at the Palmdale Estates in Fremont, Ca.  It was a beautiful wedding and although it was a rainy weekend, the day couldn’t have been better!  Rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck anyway! 🙂

It was also a kid-friendly wedding which we very much enjoyed & appreciated.

After the short ceremony, we headed towards the front of the “home” and enjoyed appetizers and drinks.  Both Erin & Mike work in the Food Truck industry and had some appetizers from a food truck!  Slider’s Truck had 3 different options for us to try.  Our favorite was these pork belly sliders with red onion and a quail egg on top of a puff pastry. YUM!

After cocktail hour & photos, it was time to go inside.

Below is their cute guest book (Disney photos to sign) as well as their seating arrangement map (Locations of Disney “Lands”).  We were seated at “Cars Land.”

Above are the centerpieces the Maid of Honor, Lisa, made.  She made the cute mouse ears centerpiece with foam balls and hand painted & cut the petals out of coffee filters to make them look like roses.  Also, each centerpiece included a photo of Mike & Erin in front of each Disney location. 🙂

Both the food truck cookie and rice krispy treat were homemade.

What a fun wedding it was and well put together!  We had a great time!
