Today was a very busy day which means Dahlia is asleep early and mommy has time to blog! 🙂 We started our day in Fremont, California at Aqua Adventure Water Park for my twin nieces’ 9th birthday then headed out to San Francisco for our friends’ son’s First Birthday Party.
The water park is a bit smaller than others like Raging Waters that cost $39.99 per person, but still super fun and appropriate for kids of all ages, especially school-age ones! I love that the ticket pricing is super affordable (see below) and they also offer complimentary life vests for all kids. (Inner tubes also available for rent for $2.50)
General Admission – Over 48 “ | Junior Admission – Under 48 “ |
Non – Resident $17.99 Fremont Resident $16.99 |
Non – Resident $12.99 Fremont Resident $11.99 |
Other | |
3 & under | Spectator* (Someone not getting wet) |
(Includes swim diaper) $2.00 | $17.99 – Price includes an $8 refundable same-day deposit if wristband returned still on wrist. Not available on Saturdays or for Special Events. |
Here is what the park offers: (Photos taken by me)
Bucket Bay play structure for bigger kids above 48″
Lil’ Squirts play structure for little kids under 48″ (Dahlia & Nathalie loved this little area)
Four different water slides (2 for single riders and 2 for tubes – so much fun!)
The Roundabout Lazy River – my favorite! Even my dad (right) got it in on the action.
Regular pool (left) for swimming & snacks served in the kiosk on the right and a snack bar area/grill to purchase food items.
Lastly, a section where they sell floaties, etc. and have full locker rooms with showers & restrooms.
We all had a great time and want to go back before the Summer is over! Happy 9th Birthday, Mahleya & Makayla!
Next on our agenda, we headed out to San Francisco to Mountain Lake Park, a lovely hidden park with views of the Presidio, to attend our friends’ son Avery’s first birthday.
He had a “Bubble/Pop” Themed birthday that was just too cute!
Look at all the items they had, including the San Francisco Bubble Man, himself:
Bubble trays for kids to play and bubble wands from the Bubble Man, himself
Bubble Cake Pops
“Pop”corn with different seasonings to flavor with and take home
Bubbly…
Soda “pop”…
Bubble favors to take home that say, “Thanks for ‘popping’ by my party!”
Thanks for inviting us to your amazing bubble party, Avery! We had so much fun 🙂
Happy First Birthday, Avery!
…And cheers to a good week, everyone!
